Winemaker Scott Comyns

Scott brings a lifelong love of wine to his role as our winemaker.  His passion for wine began with Scott taking full advantage of each and every opportunity to fulfil the role of his parents’ personal sommelier.  Seduced by the magic of wine, Scott worked his way around Australia, seeking out roles which allowed him to develop a real, hands-on appreciation of our regional differences. He discovered the influences of the environments which can be highlighted in varietals to encourage the complexity of a great wine.  Scott first became part of our story when he joined McGuigan Wines in 2002.  After an exploratory European sabbatical to refine his skills, he moved to Tempus Two to work under our founding winemaker Liz Jackson and was appointed Winemaker soon after.
