Sparkling Pinot Chardonnay
From the sexy curvaceous bottle to the first waft of luscious stone and citrus fruit, and biscuity, creamy goodness, our Queen follows in the footsteps of traditional champagne. A premium, bottle fermented wine crafted from fruit sourced from the very best vineyards of South Australia and the cooler climates of Victoria, she skilfully blends pinot noir, chardonnay and pinot meuniere. Magical with dress ups and dress downs, spring races, fabulous canapés (especially salmon ones), our sparkling is sophisticated and full of life.

Pinot Gris
A delicate yet determined wine, rich in fruit and attitude, and with a crisp acidic backbone to carry the distinct aromatics of pear drop, floral perfume and baked apple. Our pinot gris mirrors her French heritage, with just a little residual sugar to balance the powerful fruit and high alcohol levels. She’s a stylish guest at any event and a perfect companion for al fresco dining, thai food, chicken liver pate, seafood and even pork (especially with crackling and apple sauce!).

Sangiovese
Sourced from our Beechworth vineyard, nestled in the cooler clime of foothills of the Victorian Alps, our sangiovese is a vibrantly savoury drop, with great texture and excellent varietal accents of spiced, stewed plums and cherries which echo its Italian heritage. The seduction begins with a hint of spiced cherries, plums and mulberries with just a suggestion of roasted hazelnut. In the glass, this wine is cherry red, with an elegant, persistent and sexy finish. Perfect when paired with steak tartare, roast spatchcock, mushroom risotto, and, even velvety rich dark chocolate for the perfect end to a perfect evening.

Zinfandel
Our first release zinfandel is an intense and passionate canvas for whatever lies ahead. Our premium wine-making approach draws out the very best of this unusual grape and the terroir of our cool climate Cargo Road vineyard in Orange. Intense ripe raspberries offset by clove spice provide a touch of mystery before the headiness of a rich, full-bodied palate of luscious currants, plums and raspberries balanced by cedar and cinnamon. Our pinot gris loves a strong partner – peking duck or char-grilled steak straight from the grill, or she’ll lead you into the night with a seductive smile paired with gruyere and quince paste.

Vine Vale Shiraz
Our Vine Vale vineyard in South Australia’s renown Barossa Valley consists solely of old vines, dry-grown on a friable sandy loam. The end result – low cropping levels of intensely flavoured fruit to proudly carry the shiraz tradition through to the next generation. There’s strong vanillin and mocha chocolate from the American oak which neatly cups the intense ribena and blackberry fruit aromatics. Luscious and smooth and the perfect conversationalist over hoisin marinated ribs and roast duck, venison, as well as the more traditional roast beef.

Cabernet Sauvignon
The colour of liberation in the glass, our cabernet sauvignon with her strong deep purple hues is powerful, definite and beautifully balanced. We age the grapes from our Coonawarra vineyard in new and seasoned French oak barriques for 15 months to coax the very best varietal and vineyard characteristics to the fore. Cassis, plum and liquorice with just a hint of fresh tobacco, spearmint and spice herald her arrival. With a strong fruit-driven palate of blackcurrant and mint, she’s a wine who knows what she wants – and how to get it. Try her with peppered steak, slow braised lamb, bitey parmigiano reggiano, or dark dark chocolate.

Botrytis Semillon
She’s such a special wine that we designed a special bottle just for her – echoing the romance of hand-blown perfume bottles of old, our botrytis semillon is most definitely used to making a statement. Using fruit sourced from Griffith, New South Wales, she’s powerfully rich and opulent with dried apricots, citrus fruit marmalade and just a note of wild honey finishing with just a hint of refreshing citrus. Our “Oscar” wine defines elegance and finesse. She’s gold brought to life and devine with foie gras, paté, poached pears, Christmas pudding and any blue cheese. And, of course, she’s perfect all by herself at the beginning or end of a meal.
