rich, spicy and fruit driven
From our home in the Hunter Valley comes this medium bodied Shiraz rich in red forest berry and cherry fruit flavours. The fruit was sourced from the Vanessa Vale Vineyard on Hermitage Road in Pokolbin and spent 14 Months in a blend of French (70%) and American oak (30%). Ripe fruit notes are complemented by spicy, white pepper and succulent velvet tannins.
Palate
A medium bodied wine with rich concentrated blackberry and cherry flavours. The natural sweetness of fruit is complemented with spicy, white pepper under tones and succulent velvet tannins. Great length and persistence.
Aroma
Spiced red forest berries and ripe cherry notes.
Cellaring
This wine is drinking well now but can be cellared for the next 5-10 years.

Try with peppered steak or tomato based beef casserole.
