delicate, well balanced and smooth
Sourced from warmer vineyards in the Adelaide Hills, this Australian Sauvignon Blanc has a French twist. The wine is fermented in 100% French oak barrels and experiences yeast lees stirring during fermentation. The result has tropical fruit aromas of lychee and gooseberry enriched by clean, mineral oak characters. The palate is smooth with a hint of creaminess.
Delicate gooseberry flavours with a touch of pear. A well balanced wine exhibiting a full bodied palate structure with soft mouth feel and refreshing balanced acidity.
Lifted gooseberry and nettle with a subtle hint of charry French oak.
This wine is drinking well now and should be enjoyed while it is fresh.
Smoked salmon with capers and lemon or fresh goat cheese.
