rich, ripe berry softness
The signature variety of Spain ripens to absolute perfection in the cool climate vineyards of the Adelaide Hills in South Australia and in Victoria where fruit was allowed to grow gradually to reach optimum ripeness. A deep dark purple with rich ripe berry softness and low acid and tannin results in an easy drinking wine that matches a wide range of foods. Oak aging in both French and American oak has allowed subtle integration of vanillin and spice characters, adding to the complexity.
