rich in fruit, complexity and texture
A delicate yet determined wine, rich in stone fruit, pear and baked apple characters accompanied by a crisp acidic backbone. The home of Pinot Gris is Alsace in France where the extreme cool climate makes wonderful, rich, intense wines. Our Pewter Series Pinot Gris mirrors the French heritage and is also sourced from a cool climate region, the Adelaide Hills. The result is a complex wine with intense aromatics and pure fruit flavours providing a lovely textured mouth feel.
A medium-bodied wine, rich in fruit flavours of pear and passionfruit. This is backed by a crisp, acidic structure to give refinement and length to a well-balanced and textured palate.
Distinct varietal aromas of rich pear drop, floral perfumes & passionfruit.
This wine is best enjoyed while it is young and vibrant.
A rich textural style of Pinot Gris, this wine will match well with a rich oily fish such as grilled Salmon or a light white meat including roast pork with apple sauce.
