Tempus Two Zero Alcohol Range

Non-alcoholic Fruit Punch Recipe

Nothing sparks an air of splashy celebration like a giant glass bowl of sunset-coloured punch, full of sweet, juicy gems of fruit to be shared in the company of your nearest and dearest. It’s a sentiment that dates as far back as 17th century England when punch was considered a highly sociable beverage, drunk at gatherings in clubs and taverns.

While a classic punch uses a base of either wine or a clear spirit, the options for changing it up are endless. Having a non-alcoholic punch at your next event is a nice touch as it caters to everyone - regardless of age or lifestyle choice.

Tempus Two Zero Spritz Rosé is the perfect base ingredient for an alcohol-free fruit punch. Its notes of passionfruit and tropical fruit marry wonderfully with the delicious fresh fruit and sweet fruit juice included in this recipe.

Tips For making the best non-alcoholic fruit punch

  • Choose a transparent glass bowl or pitcher to showcase the vibrant colours of the fruit and mint.
  • Taking the time to muddle the fruit and mint will release the aromas and intensify the flavour of the punch. If you don’t have a muddler, a wooden spoon works just as well.
  • A cold-pressed orange juice without the pulp works best for this recipe.
  • Ensure your Tempus Two Spritz Rosé, cranberry juice, orange juice and soda water have all been chilled for at least a few hours before making the punch.
  • Briskly stir the honey into the punch while drizzling to avoid any clumps.
  • Create a fun mocktail vibe by lacing your glasses with caster sugar before serving.

What fruit should be included in non-alcoholic fruit punch?

Traditional ingredients for a non-alcoholic fruit punch recipe include berries, oranges and lemons. However, there are really no rules, so mix and match and experiment to create a fruit punch that suits you.

Adjusting the recipe to include seasonal fruit is budget-friendly and it means you’ll be using great-tasting fruit at the peak of its flavour. Summer in Australia brings delicious in-season strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, passionfruit, pineapple and melon - all great additions to any fruit punch. For cooler months, you can swap the berries for kiwi fruit and pomegranate.
